How to submit a bug report

In case you encounter a crash or bug while using Vinyl Reality, it’s important to inform the developer about the problem so it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

You can submit a bug either through email ( ) or by posting in the support channel on the Vinyl Reality Discord server.

When you submit a bug report, please always try to include:

  • A description of the issue (ex: What did not work as expected)
  • A step-by-step description on how to reproduce the bug (if possible)
  • As many details about your system that you think might be relevant (ex: Which VR system and SDK are you using)
  • The log file of the play session in which the crash or bug occurred (see below)

Log files keep a record of errors and other information while the application runs and are a very useful tool in tracking down issues.

Warning: If you encounter a bug, it’s important to copy the log file to another location on your computer before restarting the application, because the log file is overwritten every time Vinyl Reality is restarted.

The log file for Vinyl Reality can be found at the following location on your computer:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\LocalLow\EntroPi Games\Vinyl Reality\output_log.txt

If the AppData folder is not visible in your user folder, you might need to enable showing hidden files and folders.
