Turntable Settings
Handling
These settings allow users to configure how the turntables handle.
For example, setting the Slipmat Friction to high and the Motor Start / Stop Speed to instant, will make the turntables handle a lot more like a CDJ (in vinyl mode) than a regular turntable.
- Slipmat Friction: Controls how fast the slipmat (and the attached vinyl record) matches the speed of the platter after being released.
- Motor Start / Stop Speed: Controls how fast the platter will accelerate to its target speed. A higher setting will result in less audible distortion when the record begins to play.
- Motor Power-Off Brake Speed: Controls how long it takes for the platter to come to a complete stop after the turntable’s power is turned off.
- Platter Pitch Bend Sensitivity: Controls the amount the pitch / playback speed changes when grabbing and moving the platter’s edge.
- Spindle Pitch Bend Sensitivity: Controls the amount the pitch / playback speed changes when using the turntable’s spindle.
- Pitch Range %: Sets the range of the pitch slider (8%, 16%, 32%, 50%, 100%)
Appearance
Apart from being able to load custom slipmat designs, the turntable’s appearance can also be changed in other ways.
- Color Scheme: Select which turntable color scheme to use.
